The Model 620 is designed specifically for traffic control applications that require extremely fast opening and closing times. When used with an aluminum beam of 8½ feet or less, the 620 has an opening time of under 2 seconds and a 100% duty cycle. It works well in a medium-high volume traffic control with standard width entrances. The 620 can handle beams of different types (rigid, round, articulated, skirted, hinged), different materials (aluminum, wood), and different lengths (6½ to 13 feet). The microprocessor in the Control Panel allow the barrier to be easily interconnected with other traffic control devices.
